The new ‘Land Girls bags’ are finished and I am really pleased with them.  Inspired by the 1950’s Land Girls, the bags are extremely hard-working and strong, and thanks to the bridle-finished shoulder leather used for the straps they will go on and on and wear beautifully.    The british-made cotton canvas is waterproof, and because the straps continue twice around the base of the bags, their strength is impressive.

Wide straps mean they will not cut in to your shoulders when carrying weightier  loads, and a slightly sueded back to the strap means that they will not slip off easily.  Finally there are two useful zipped interior pockets, large enough to fit in a mobile or purse.  I use mine as a beach bag, as the square base allows for  towels, drinks and snacks to be easily fitted in.
